What Are We Doing?

We live to invite all people to come as they are to experience the freedom and joy of following Jesus.

Why Are We Doing It?

  • Unbridled Grace – We aim to be people who value desire over competence and allow people to be human in their pursuit of God (John 21:15-17; Romans 5:20-21; 1 Corinthians 4:1-5; 1 Corinthians 13; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
  • Hilarious Generosity – We seek ways to abundantly share with joy all that God has entrusted to us whether it be our time, treasure, or talents (Mark 12:41-44; 1 Corinthians 8-9; 1 Timothy 6:6-19).
  • Active Compassion – We search for opportunities to share Christ’s love and mercy with all people, including those in situations of social injustice (Isaiah 58:5-9; Matt. 25:35-40; Hebrews 13:2; James 1:27; 1 John 3:16-17).
  • Authentic Relationships – We engage in genuine life-on-life organic relationship building with God and others (Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25).
  • Intentional Growth – We value seeing people transformed and empowered through a strategic discipleship process (Galatians 5:22-24; Hebrews 12:2; 2 Peter 1:3-11).
  • Passionate Worship – We believe worship happens when desperation meets Jesus (Ps. 42:1-2; Matthew 5:6; Mark 2:1-13; Luke 7:36-50).

How Are We Doing It?

"The Strategy of Worship + 2"

This strategy involves people being focused on no more than two areas outside of the Re(Focus) or worship environment (our celebrative gathering). We desire to see people involved in a Re(Connect) environment (i.e. discipleship) and a Re(Verb) environment (i.e. outreach). Through this simple process, more will be involved in their community rather than in the "busyness" of countless church activities.

How Do We Measure Success or What Does a Christ-Follower Become?

There will be a balance between:

        • Practices of Spirituality (prayer, Bible study methods)

        • Practices of Worship (song, meditation, tithing)

        • Practices of Missional Living (evangelism, service, outreach)

        • Practices of Service (spiritual gifts, ministry involvement)

        • Practices of Community (fellowship, accountability)

        • Practices of Simplicity (simple living, family, giving/generosity)
